Parents As Teachers Porter County is an early childhood, parenting, and family education program that provides one-on-one guidance and support to parents interested in shaping their birth-to-five-year-old children into healthy and functional children ready to enter school and eager to succeed in life.
Our mission is to help families through parent education, early literacy coaching, and family support. We provide personal one-on-one visits, parent/child workshops, parent-only forums, developmental screenings, and resource networking. Ready, Set, Kindergarten readiness program serving 4-5 years olds one year prior to Kindergarten entry, offered in over 20 locations throughout the county, as well as virtually at-home through videos and online instruction.
